Caring for Orphaned Newborn Domestic Rabbit's
Do NOT attempt to nurse a baby rabbit if you do not have the proper supplies to do so. Do NOT attempt to nurse an orphaned rabbit if you do not understand the material in this document. A rabbit should NEVER be removed from a nursing mother, unless you are 100 percent sure she is not nursing them. To be sure, weigh them to make sure they are growing before removing them from the mother.
Nursing rabbits is extremely difficult to do, even with proper instructions - If you are unsure what you are doing or do not have the proper set up - please call a professional licensed wildlife rehabber that does baby rabbits or contact your local house rabbit society or local rabbit rescue immediately.
